Hydraulic Nuts
The SKF Hydraulic Nuts are quite unique in that they offer features not offered by other brands:
- Two locations for mounting the high pressure hydraulic hose. One in the face of the nut and the other in the outer diameter. This helps when using the nut in confined spaces.
- A hole machined in the nut face to take a dial gauge so the dial gauge can be used to measure the axial drive up of the hydraulic piston. This is used for the Drive Up Method for mounting spherical roller bearings.
